Police Officer – City of Pleasanton

The City of Pleasanton, Kansas is seeking interest from qualified candidates for the position of Law Enforcement Officer.

The City of Pleasanton is located 45 minutes South of the Kansas City metropolitan area along Highway 69, with approximately 1,200 residents.

The essential functions of the position within the organization are to enforce City, State, and Federal laws; respond to calls, make arrests, issue citations, occasionally testify in court cases, and report on events and activities to the Chief of Police.

KLETC Certification is required. Must be able to pass psychological exam, strong background check and have clear driving record. Prefer at least 1 year of active law enforcement. Must be willing to relocate to the City of Pleasanton or live within 10-minute response time of Pleasanton, Kansas. Would be willing to train the right candidate.
