Arlington police fatally shot a man Thursday during a standoff at a used-car dealership.
No officers were injured in the incident, which began around 2:30 p.m.
Authorities were called to Galaxy Auto Sales in the 600 block of East Front Street, near East Division Street, after the man walked in and demanded to speak to the owner.

The man moved his vehicle, and officers tried to negotiate for several hours.
The man discharged a shotgun through the passenger window of his vehicle, and later out of the driver’s window, firing in the direction of the officers, police said.
Officers returned fire, fatally striking the suspect.
The man, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital, where he later died, police said.
Division Street was closed in the vicinity of the incident for about an hour.
